What is a pronoun?  

A pronoun is the part in speech that substitutes for nouns or noun phrases and designates persons or things asked for, previously specified, or understood.

In English please?

A pronoun is simply a word that is used instead of directly referring to the object or the person. 

 

Common Pronouns

He It I Him Them We
She They Her Me Us

 

Indefinite Pronouns

anybody either neither somebody
anyone everybody nobody someone
anything everyone none something
each everything no one

 

What is an antecedent?

An antecedent is a word, phrase, or clause that determines what a pronoun refers to.

In English please?

An antecedent is simply something that makes it clear what the pronoun refers to.
