The Old North End: Occupational Basis

As the data on the platting of the Old North End and of the ethnic roots of the area indicates, clearly by the first decades of the twentieth century the neighborhood had firmly established itself as a stable community on the northern edge of Lima. The Old North End began as a blue-collar neighborhood and remained so throughout its history.
