Bluffton University Alumni Association

Today's Alumni Association serves as a liaison between Bluffton alumni and their alma mater. Its purpose is to promote, represent and support Bluffton University.

The alumni association board of directors is comprised of the executive committee (president, president-elect, past president, secretary and treasurer), three representatives from the Bluffton University Women's Council, three representatives from the Bluffton University Board of Trustees and a representative from the Bluffton University alumni office who serves as an ex-officio member.

The May Day run/walk is an event sponsored by the alumni association. Money raised by the run/walk and the sale of alumni merchandise (Bluffton University blankets and Cat's Meow buildings) fund the Alumni Awards  banquet held during Homecoming weekend.  

Membership in the Alumni Association is made of up three groups:

  1. those who have received a Bluffton degree
  2. those who have not received a degree, but who have completed at least 27 semester credit hours in an undergraduate program or at least six semester credit hours in a masters program
  3. those who have been awarded an honorary degree from Bluffton University as awarded by the board of trustees.
