May Day activities began with the 26th running of the May Day Run to raise funds for the Bluffton University Alumni Association scholarship fund. |

 There were nearly 80 participants, ranging from under 10 to more than 75 years old. Run results. |

| Yoder Recital Hall came alive with song by current and alumni choir and chorus members. The group sang under the direction of current and former music faculty members and later sang the traditional benediction to conclude the May Day Ceremony. |

| The annual May Day ceremony celebrates the past, present and future. Graduating seniors are introduced, the court crowned and honored first-year students perform the May Pole Dance. |   |

| Seniors selected by the student body to serve as the May Day Court included senior escort Thomas Dunn, queen Jaclyn Finn, king Courtnee Morris and senior attendant Ariel Kennell. |

| Following the May Day Ceremony, alumni and friends joined for a Reunion Luncheon. During the short program, the 50 year reunion class traditionally presents its class gift. This year, the class of 1956 presented a significant gift for the renovation of the Househower House for use as an alumni center. |   |
