Sauder Family Artists art exhibit

The children of the Rev. Jerry H. Sauder `27 all graduated from Bluffton. Carlton J. Sauder `51 majored in business, but began a lifelong interest in photography while attending Bluffton. Kathryn Sauder Moore `54 and Carolyn Sauder Urich Rich `62, both majored in art, and continued to enjoy and create art all of their lives. This exhibit showcases the art work of this talented family of Bluffton graduates. It also honors their father, whose donation in the name of his family in 1990 was instrumental to the construction of Sauder Visual Art Center.

Bring a themed gift basket to sell or purchase a gift basket at the second annual Basket Sale sponsored by the Women's Council. Proceeds will benefit the university.

Revive your musical energies, share your talents with current students and take time to reflect on your experiences as a student. The alumni choir will gather again to sing The Lork Bless You and Keep You to close the May Day ceremony.

This event celebrates the end of an academic year, the beginning of a new chapter for graduates and the remembrance of times past for alumni. It includes the colorful Maypole dance performed by first-year students, crowning of the queen and king and recognition of graduating seniors.

Graduating classes ending in a "3" & "8" and the class of 2007 will celebrate class reunions during lunch. Come and reminisce. Reconnect with your classmates, renew friendships and celebrate Bluffton! Following the success of the young alumni picnic last year, two venues will again be offered. A formal luncheon will be available in Marbeck Center and a picnic lunch buffet served under the tent near Centennial Hall. Both the luncheon and the picnic are open to all alumni, 2008 graduates and families. Current students are invited to enjoy the picnic lunch.

Academic departments will be having open houses at various locations around campus. This is an opportunity for graduates and their families to bid farewell to faculty members. It is also an opportunity for alumni to greet current faculty.

This event honors the 2008 graduates, their families and alumni. Graduates will be welcomed into the Bluffton Univesity Alumni Association.
