The seventh annual Bluffton Alumni & Friends Golf Outing proved once again to be a success. It was held July 17, 2004, at the Colonial Golfers Club in Ada/Harrod, Ohio.
While it rained and dark clouds swirled overhead the weather could not dampen the spirits of the 105 participants made up of Bluffton alumni, faculty, staff and friends. Although the playing conditions were far from ideal, the winning team shot masterfully in firing a 15 under par, 56 for the four-person scramble.
The 2004 outing raised more than $6,000 for the Bluffton University athletics department.
