Coach Fischer shaped Bluffton women's athletics in the 1980s and 90s as she coached Beavers volleyball for 19 seasons, women’s basketball
for 11 seasons, and softball for six seasons. She was inducted into the Bluffton University
Athletics Hall of Fame in 1999.
