Revamping an industry
Since taking over the family business in 2002, Todd Miller has been hard at work revamping the metal roofing business, turning Classic Metal Roofing Systems in Piqua, Ohio, into one of the leading metal manufacturers in the United States. He is active in multiple national organizations, and helped found Metal Roofing Alliance, an innovative organization that brings together paint companies, material suppliers, industry publications and more, allowing consumers to make more informed roofing decisions.

Additionally, Todd is CEO of Growth Resources of Ohio, a sales consulting and training organization that works with successful companies who are trying to take their sales performance and productivity to a higher level. Robert Chapman, president of Growth Resources, says, “Todd is a quiet leader who has a genuine caring for people. He’s constantly urging his employees toward stronger teamwork, emphasizing quality in the work they do. He knows everyone’s name and doesn’t leave a conversation without drawing the individual’s attention to safety in their work.”

Todd is active in his community, serving as president of both the Miami County United Way and the Christian Academy Schools board of education. He is a member of his church council at Sidney First United Methodist Church, where he’s a member of the Methodist Men’s Group, on the staff parish relations committee and active in junior church. He is also a Cub Scout Master for his son’s Cub Scout Troop. Todd says his years at Bluffton gave him a lifelong desire for learning, taught him a lot about relationships and even more about the importance of Christian character.

Todd and his wife, Lisa, live in Sidney, Ohio, with their son, Evan.
