Beavers stand out in classroom
Men's basketball team excels in classroom as well as on the court

The Bluffton University men's basketball team placed five individuals on the Dean's List for the 2006 fall semester. In addition, 10 more Beavers finished with a grade point average above 3.0 for the semester.
Seniors Eric Schwieterman (St. Henry/St. Henry) and David Patch (Minster/Minster) were joined on the Dean's List by sophomore Aaron Mass (Tiffin/Calvert) and freshmen Zack Kraus (Findlay/Findlay) and Jordan Pothast (Ottawa/Ottawa-Glandorf).
Finishing the fall semester with a 3.0 GPA or higher were seniors Mike Anthony (Ohio City/Delphos St. John's) Tom Heil (Stow/Archbishop Hoban) and Ricky Reucher (Toledo/Central Catholic). Juniors PJ Juenger (Loveland/Archbishop Moeller) and Nate Overmyer (Payne/Wayne Trace) both ended the semester above a 3.0 GPA. Four sophomores, Drew Clady (Holgate/New Bavaria), Colt Cunningham (Powell/Worthington Christian), Justin Rufenacht (Wauseon/Pettisville) and Josiah Stober (Spencerville/Spencerville), along with freshman Chris Singleton (Ada/Ada), completed the semester with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
The men's basketball team will look to start another winning streak when it travels to Manchester College on Wednesday, January 10, 2007. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in North Manchester, Indiana.
