Bluffton College senior Jeremy Roberts (Bucyrus/Wynford H.S.) has been named the Heartland Conference Player of the Week for his efforts in two basketball games last weekend. Roberts led Bluffton to a third place finish at the North Central College (Ill.) Tip-off Tournament that included a 97-91 win over defending HCAC champion Franklin College.

In Bluffton's two games at the tournament, Roberts combined for 43 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two steals. In the tournament's first game he scored 23 points as Bluffton fell to tournament host North Central. Then in the consolation game Roberts hit for 20 as Bluffton took a six-point victory over Franklin.
