ABOUT THE BEAVERS:
This is an exciting time to be a part of the Bluffton University baseball program. The 2013 team set a school record for wins with 21 and the 2014 team was able to match that mark, giving the Beavers the first two 20+ win seasons in school history and the first back-to-back winning seasons in over 25 years. The Beavers also set a school record for the most HCAC wins (13) in a season.
Over the past 11 years, Bluffton has produced four 2nd Team All-Mideast Region selections and four 3rd team selections. 2013 grad Kyle Niermann became the first player to be selected 1st Team ABCA All-Mideast Region. The program has also produced 13 1st Team All-HCAC players, including 2014 HCAC Freshmen of the Year Luke Hickey. In 2014, the program had seven Academic All-HCAC nominees and boasts a team GPA over 3.0. 2014 grad Tim Webb was named 3rd Team Academic All-American, the first player in school history to earn that honor.
