Music at Bluffton
Music is much more than a well-respected academic area at Bluffton. Whether you are a student, faculty, staff, alumnus, parent or community member, Bluffton provides opportunities for you to perform in or to enjoy first-class musical productions.
Yoder Recital Hall, the university s 300-seat concert hall, is the venue for concerts and recitals, ranging from classical chamber music to vocal and instrumental solo recitals to jazz performances by students, faculty and professional touring musicians.

Community-wide performance opportunities are available through the annual production of Handel's Messiah, traditionally performed the second Sunday in December; in the Bach's Festival Concert in March; and in the Concert Band. Contact the music department for more information about participating.
Performance opportunities for students include choirs: Camerata Singers (select choir), the University Chorale and Choral Society (mixed choirs); two bands: Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble; the Lima Symphony Orchestra; annual staged productions; and numerous chamber ensembles. Bluffton University is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music and an All-Steinway School.
