Graphic design major/minor

A major in graphic design will be offered beginning fall 2012. Students will develop skills using the latest software programs and apply learned knowledge through real world projects and assignments. Our program offers smaller class sizes, internships and professional portfolio building support to prepare students for vocation.

The graphic design minor complements the traditional art major as well as several other majors on Bluffton's campus, including communication and business. After a year of basic studies in drawing and design, the graphic arts minor introduces in the sophomore year study of desktop publishing, photo manipulation, computer illustration, typography, Internet design, corporate identification and advanced studies in computer graphic design.
