Degree completion admissions process

omp-class.jpg

Prospective students first attend an information meeting, during which we provide details that will ensure that applicants have a clear understanding of the scope of the work expected of them. We emphasize that while BCOMP and HRM provide the convenience of attending class only one evening a week, the student will need to meet the challenge of keeping up with assignments.

Once the student applies and is accepted into either program, we anticipate a high rate of success. Student selection and assessment is critical to retention. BCOMP and HRM offer an excellent opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree to those who might not otherwise complee a degree.

It’s easy to apply! (Forms below are available below in Adobe Acrobat(R) format. If you do not have the Acrobat Reader(R), you can download Adobe Acrobat Reader(R) at no charge.

  • Schedule an information meeting. At the information meeting, a program representative will explain the program format, requirements, tuition and fees and other aspects of the program.

  • Complete the application for admission and mail it along with your $25 application fee to the Office of Adult and Graduate Education, Bluffton University, 1 University Drive, Bluffton, OH 45817.

  • Request that each college and/or university you have attended send official transcripts to the Office of Adult and Graduate Education. (Transcript request form)

  • Ask two professional acquaintances to complete and submit a recommendation form.

  • Complete a writing assessment provided by our office.

  • If your employer provides some financial assistance, submit a copy of your education assistance plan.
