Bluffton University's orientation program is made up of two separate events. Summer orientation and registration is a day-long event held during the summer. Fall welcome week begins the Friday before classes begin in August.

Our summer orientation & registration is designed so you can complete both in only one day. You'll visit residence halls, interact with current students and meet with an adviser who will help you register for your first classes at Bluffton. We have sessions for your parents and other family members, so bring them along, too.

STUDENT & FAMILY CHECK-IN
Marbeck Center Kiva & Gallery Lounge
Begin by meeting your admissions counselor and picking up the information you'll need for the day. Smile for your ID card photo and head downstairs to meet student leaders. Parents and family members are also invited to check in and learn about resources for student success.

University representatives and current student leaders will welcome you to campus and share insight on the foundations of Bluffton's learning community.

Meet with Bluffton's faculty advisors to discuss course possibilities and register for fall semester classes. Complete your checklist of final items and meet individually with a financial aid counselor. Don't forget to visit the bookstore in Marbeck Center and pick up your student ID from your mailbox.

As students register for classes, take this opportunity to tie up any "loose ends." Meet individually with business office and financial aid representatives. Admissions, technology, career and vocation, academic development services, residence life and orientation staff will be available to answer questions.
