We are seeking enthusiastic, fun, friendly, caring & knowledgeable Bluffton students to assist with the many different aspects of our summer orientation program!
The Kit Guides are a group of current Bluffton students who help orient new students and their families to what Bluffton University is all about!
As a Kit Guide you may assist new students in the registration process, sit on a Q & A panel for parents, give students a tour of their room & residence hall, perform skits or tell new students what's great about college life and Bluffton University!
It's a great chance to show new students what you love about Bluffton! But don't take our word for it! Here's what a few past students have said about the program.
"Being a Kit Guide is a wonderful experience. It is so fun to be able to meet all of the new students as they enter their first year of college at Bluffton, and rewarding to know that you are making their transition just a little bit smoother. It is a great way to get to know current Bluffton students, staff, and incoming Beavers a little better. Knowing the first year students when they get here in the fall is a great feeling as you are an approachable face for them to talk to." - Mary Eckert, Kit Guide 2005 - 2007
"Being a Kit Guide allows you to become acquainted with the first year students before they arrive on campus in the fall. You have the opportunity to positively reinforce their decision to attend Bluffton University through entertaining skits that are also informational. Overall, being a Kit Guide is a great experience that allows you to meet new students while having fun." - Andrew Bixel, Kit Guide 2004
