Welcome Group Session #3
Facilitated jointly by students, faculty, and staff, this session takes a global and respectful look at the Bluffton community. The session includes a variety of fun and stimulating activities that focus on how we together seek to foster a community of respect.
Location: Check signs posted on residence hall floors, lobbies or Marbeck Center.
3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Free Time
Spend some time relaxing, finish unpacking, hang out with new friends, check with your RA about taking a tour of where your classes will be or meet out at the sand volleyball court for a game.
5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
New Student Picnic
Games, activities including MCB sponsored Bluffton Olympics, and dinner for all new students!
Location: Salzman Stadium
7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Welcome Group Session #4
Small group discussion. Participation in this session is important for being academically prepared for First Year Seminar and the Opening Convocation speaker.
Location: Check signs posted on residence hall floors, lobbies or Marbeck Center.
9:00 p.m.
Residence Hall Floor Activity
Resident Advisors will have fun and exciting activities planned for your floor! Commuting students are welcome to participate! Check with one of your Welcome Group leaders.
