Fast Webwww.fastweb.com
FastWeb makes it quick and easy to search for scholarships.  Just fill out the student/parent information and it automatically searches for scholarships that you may be eligible for.  It requires a user-id, which you may use to go back to the webpage and access your account to see if more scholarships have been added.  If you provide an e-mail address, you will also receive notification anytime a scholarship has been added.  FastWeb also has links to lots of other financial aid and admissions information – college directory, FAFSA, loans, etc.

Peterson's COLLEGEQUESTwww.collegequest.com
This database presents the same complete descriptions found in Peterson’s Scholarships, Grants and Prizes book.  It presents 800,000 awards from about 2,000 sources in 69 academic areas.  Select the “explore financial aid” link.

In addition to the scholarship databases listed above, there are also several other free scholarship databases listed on the Financial Aid Information (FinAid) Web page.  These databases are smaller, but also more tightly focused.  The list of Major-Specific Databases provides information for specific majors or career interests, such as art, computer science, journalism or nursing.  FinAid also provides pages describing scholarships and other forms of aid available.
