Major in college: Writing

Bluffton graduation year: 2006

Years working at Bluffton University:
I began working for admissions in October of 2006

Why I chose Bluffton University:
Visiting the Bluffton campus was an adventure for me since I’m from across the country.  But even though I was far from home, I felt a sense of comfort and belonging here that made my decision to attend much easier.  That choice was validated when I moved onto campus and became a student, and I discovered a lot about myself and who I wanted to be in an environment that encouraged my growth.  Having the chance to come back and help others reach their college decision is an opportunity I’m grateful to have.  It is very rewarding to assist others in making a choice that will benefit them for years to come.

Hobbies/interests:
I am a fan of nature, and enjoy breathing fresh air and watching a good sunset.  I love the mountains, bike riding, reading, history, road trips, instrumental music and dogs.

Favorites:
Season: early summer
Type of food: Mexican
Brand of clothing: anything from a thrift storeJ
Song: “Dante’s Prayer” by Loreena Mckennitt
Scripture: Philippians 1:6, 2:13 “I believe God.  I believe He is working in me no matter what I may feel or how the situation may look.  The Lord has begun a good work in me, and He will bring it to full completion.”
