Why I chose Bluffton University:

I chose to attend Bluffton University for a variety of different reasons. I was drawn to the beauty of campus, the small size, the connection to the Mennonite Church and the community that I felt while visiting.

While attending Bluffton I was able to get involved in a lot of different leadership roles on campus that I don't think would have been possible in a larger university setting. It is a great environment and gave me many opportunities to grow and be challenged not only academically but also in my personal and spiritual life. The relationships that I built and the community I found with students, faculty and staff members through a number of different settings has made a lasting impact on who I am today and is ultimately what led me to working in admissions.

Hobbies/interests:

Spending time with friends and family, reading, traveling.

 Favorites:

Food: chips and salsa, truly the best late night study session snack!

Candy: I like anything sweet and always have my candy dish full for visitors!

Ice-cream: mint chocolate chip

Season: Fall, I enjoy all the beautiful colors of the leaves and the sound of them crunching beneath your feet as you walk through campus.

Color: Purple!

Animal: I have always been fascinated by flamingos... my second favorite would have to be sock monkeys.

Favorite Bible Verse:

2 Timothy 1:7 - "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of love, power, and self-discipline."
