Nick, Technology Center Assistant

At Bluffton, technology is more than hardware, software, bits and bytes. It’s Hillary, Nick, Brenda and Ray – student Technology Center assistants, Help Desk personnel and IT professionals.

Student Technology Center assistants receive training throughout the year and are available to provide one-on-one assistance during normal center hours. The center is open until midnight five nights a week during the academic year. In the Tech Center, students have access to MS Office software, video editing software, Adobe Creative Suite, scanners, a color printer, with the additional ability to sign out digital cameras, digital video cameras and more.

Help with your computer is just a phone call away. Brenda at our Help Desk can assist you in connecting your PC to the network, provide directions for downloading McAfee VirusScan and installing MS Office software. Non-credit workshops on a variety of desktop office applications are offered through the Help Desk.
