At Bluffton we offer several opportunities for you to delve deeper into a field of interest.
The $1,500 Summer Discovery Grant gives you a break from wage work for part of the summer to create an experience that allows you to consider new vocational possibilities. This is an opportunity for you to dream a little! Application deadline is March 15, 2010.
The Ministry Inquiry Program gives you the opportunity to experience first-hand what ministry is for 11 weeks in the summer. Working under the supervision of an experienced pastor, you will be involved in many aspects of a minister's life and work. A $2,000 scholarship is then given towards fall tuition.
The Women's Council, an organization of Bluffton alumni, provides Professional Enrichment Grants for Women. Full-time junior, senior or fifth-year women are eligible to apply for grants to obtain professional experience in an anticipated career. For example, a grant could be awarded to cover the registration fee of a professional conference or experience. Applications are available for the 2011-12 academic year on Aug. 1, 2011.
