You’ll be well prepared to greet your professional future when you pursue one of our challenging graduate programs. And you’ll appreciate convenient schedules—one night a week—designed for working adults. In addition to classes at our Bluffton campus, you’ll also find our graduate programs at local sites in Piqua and Archbold, Ohio.
Graduate programs in business
Choose the Master of Business Administration (MBA) or the Master of Arts in Organizational Management (MAOM) to expand your business-related opportunities. Our own assistant professor of business, J. Peter Suter, decided Bluffton’s Master of Arts in Organizational Management fit his professional development needs. Now, he uses what he learned to teach the undergraduate senior capstone course, Christian Values in a Global Community. Suter says that “by working with other markets, we have an opportunity to see how others do things and appreciate that there may be better ideas available than just ours.”
Graduate programs in education
As Ohio teachers are required to obtain a master’s degree within 10 years after receiving a bachelor’s degree, many choose Bluffton’s Master of Arts in Education (MAEd), Ohio’s “best value” in quality graduate teacher education. Dr. Gayle Trollinger, Bluffton University associate dean of academic affairs and director of graduate programs in education, says, “We collaborate with practicing teachers, administrators, and the Ohio Department of Education” to meet the varying needs of educators in Ohio’s schools. “The growth in our programs offers evidence that we are successful.”
