Administrative Assistant-Office of Adult & Graduate Education

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have at least two years of office management training with previous office experience, preferably in an academic setting. The following special skills are also required for this position; a commitment to providing exceptional customer service; strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of computer systems and software: MS Word, Goldmine, Excel and PowerPoint, data base systems; data entry and proofreading skills; a positive attitude and the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks; professional telephone and office etiquette; ability to work effectively and positively with students and families on sensitive financial concerns; maintain the privacy of sensitive or confidential information at all times; orientation to detail and strong organizational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
This position acts as the primary administrative representative for all aspects and issues related to students in the Graduate Programs in Business, Graduate Programs in Education and Professional Development Workshops for Educators. Additionally, this position provides receptionist and secretarial services for staff members and graduate program directors while managing a wide range of day-to-day activities in the Office of Adult & Graduate Education, including frequent interaction with students.
