The Bluffton University music department is seeking a part-time staff accompanist beginning in fall 2008, with the possibility of instructing piano and some musical coaching.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accompanist responsibilities include playing for vocalists and instrumentalists (including lessons, rehearsals, recitals and juries), and possibly accompanying choral rehearsals. Other possible duties may include teaching applied piano to majors and non-majors at all undergraduate levels, grading piano juries, and other duties as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor’s degree in piano is required, a master’s degree preferred.
