Administrative Assistant in Academic Affairs

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have at least two years of office management training with previous office experience, preferably in an academic setting.  The following skills and attributes are required for this position: ability to create a friendly environment in the academic affairs office; strong written and oral communication skills; knowledge of computer systems and MS Office software; proofreading skills; a positive attitude; the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks; professional telephone and office etiquette; ability to maintain the privacy of sensitive and confidential information at all times; orientation to detail and strong organizational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position manages the academic affairs office, provides receptionist and secretarial services to the administrative staff in the academic affairs office and provides support to the director of Pathways to Mission and Vocation. This position will be full time from August 15 through May 14 and half time from May 15 through August 14.
