Official Documents of the United Nations (ODS) covers all types of official United Nations documentation, beginning in 1993. Older UN documents are added on a daily basis. ODS also provides access to the resolutions of the General Assembly, Security Council, Economic and Social Council and the Trusteeship Council from 1946 onwards.

Ohio Capitol Connection provides information about current and past legislation of the Ohio General Assembly. Updated daily, it has the complete status and full text of bills introduced in the Ohio General Assembly. This database includes rosters of House and Senate members searchable by name or location, and addresses and biographies of the General Assembly members. While the database focuses on Ohio, information about the Federal government is also available.

Provides electronic versions of "brittle books" owned by the OSU Libraries. These books are out-of-print, fragile, and no longer protected by copyright. The books were selected for preservation by OSU Libraries because of their ongoing value.

Opening History (OH) provides organized access to digital resources of value for research on United States history and culture. It aggregates a range of distributed and complementary cultural heritage collections from libraries, museums, and archives to increase their visibility and to enhance the value and usefulness of individual collections by integrating them with related collections, providing search and browse functions across collections, and linking to related resources outside of OH. The OH initiative encourages sharing of digital resources in open access formats and promotes coordinated access to regional, state, and local collections to support the creation of a digital cultural heritage aggregation of national scope.

Oxford English Dictionary    FULL-TEXT CONTENT 

Oxford English Dictionary is the accepted authority on the evolution of the English language over the last millennium. It is a guide to the meaning, history, and pronunciation of over half a million words, both present and past. It traces the usage of words through 2.5 million quotations from a wide range of international English language sources, from classic literature and specialist periodicals to film scripts and cookery books. The OED covers words from across the English-speaking world, from North America to South Africa, from Australia and New Zealand to the Caribbean. It also offers the best in etymological analysis, listings of variant spellings, and shows pronunciation using the International Phonetic Alphabet. The online OED corresponds to the Second Edition (20 volumes in print). Updated quarterly.

Oxford Music Online (formerly Grove) is the most comprehensive and authoritative online resource for research into all aspects of music. It includes the full text of The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians (2nd edition); The New Grove Dictionary of Opera; and The New Grove Dictionary of Jazz, (2nd edition). Through a partnership with the music software designer Sibelius, over 500 of Grove's musical examples are now available in sound. The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians is also available in print, at ML100.N48 2001 in the Musselman Library Reading Room.
