The West facade

This forty foot tall building, based on the seventeenth century orangerie (especially that at Versailles) has 15 arched doorways--11 at the front. Each has a sculpted keystone with a figure associated with nature, like Flora or Pomona. The limestone facade is rusticated and topped with a balustrade.
