Aragon Pavilion

Daniel Olano
2008

Like Spain, the region of Aragon, as host, had its own separate pavilion and was the only one of Spain’s 17 autonomous regions to get its own pavilion. The Spain Pavilion, designed by Patxi Mangado, is not pictured on my site but there's a sneak view of the Aragon Pavilion, which resembles local basket weaving. Apparently at night giant inflatable vegetables rise above its roof; a bit of the red is seen at the top. The Pavilion will become the headquarters for the Department of Education of the Aragonese Regional Government after Expo 2008.
