The faces, presumably portraits, which adorn this tomb are of a noble couple: Mr. One Tremor and Mrs. Ten Cane. When the bone remains in the tomb were studied, scholars discovered that the majority of the femurs had disappeared.
 

Two stucco friezes with an aged couple and their name glyphs

In the friezes the male figures are depicted carrying femurs, perhaps taken from the skeletons of their fathers thus indicating their inherited right to their nobility.
 
The couples wear jewelry and other adornments. The male holds a femur.
