Museum Courtyard (page 7 of 10 pages)

Richard Meier
1997

The Museum Courtyard, a long axis of space which seems enclosed, has a canal water basin leading to the three-story rotunda and a circular fountain at the opposite end. The Courtyard sits between five pavilions: North, East, South, West, and Exhibitions. Art is arranged chronologically beginning at the North Pavilion and finishing with the West (with art after 1800).
