Cass Gilbert, famous as the architect of the Woolworth Building and the United States Supreme Court Building, used a variety of historic styles. Here he borrows from Italian Renaissance palazzi. Two views of the front and the side leading to the small courtyard


The courtyard behind the main rectangle: from the entrance, the partial loggia and the back of the main rectangle, and the loggia opposite the entrance, leading to the small alcove added by Venturi Scott Brown and Associates.
