Dome, Vitra Campus

Richard Buckminster Fuller and T. C. Howard
1975/2000

The work of Fuller, known for the exploration of geodesic structures, was continued by his business associate and engineer T. C. Howard.

This dome was originally erected in Detroit in 1975. In 2000 it was transferred to the Vitra campus so that the work of another great architect could find a place on this campus. Today it is used as an event location.
