Musical Theater and Casino, Marlene-Dietrich Platz

Renzo Piano
1998

The Musical Theater and Casino are to the right while the IMAX Theater (also by Piano) is to the left and Piano's Atrium Tower is in the center background. This structure is the largest building on Marlene-Dietrich Platz, which also is the site of the Grand Hyatt Hotel by Moneo. This structure is at the farthest western edge of original site for Potsdamer Platz.

Two buildings under the same roof with a narrow space between them

Left and center: To the south of the structures, a water feature with Mark di Suvero's Galileo delights the eye; right: from the north end, looking south along the east wall of Speilbank
