Mediterranean Revival architecture

While one thinks of South Beach as a center for Art Deco architecture, Mediterranean Revival architecture was actually a favored style in the 1920s, no doubt because of the climate at Miami Beach. Here the arched lower windows, the small balconies, the terra cotta tile roof, and the delicate string courses characterize this style.
