Federal Reserve Branch Bank

Donald L. Preszler, Ken R. White Co., and William C. Muchow Associates
1968

A fortified building

Although this reserve bank is actually fortified, befitting its function, it also has a fortified look. The bank is located on the 16th Street Mall so it has a gracious sidewalk with plantings.

Low slung, the cantilevered third floor suggests a fortress.
