In the spring
2002 semester we shifted our focus to applying what we had learned to actual
courses that Jeff Gundy was teaching. Lauren Selleck worked on creating
a well-organized and efficient web site for the student responses and web
links that were assigned in Issues in Modern America. Kari Sommers did
some research for the Studies in American Literature web site and wrote
an analysis of student e-mail journals on three of the novels that they
read. Jessica Basinger created a web site for Advanced College English
and analyzed those students' use of the Jenzabar Forum discussion feature.
The fourth student in our group, Darko Arsov, designed and created this
web site and also worked with another Learning Circles group led by BC
professor Cynthia Bandish.
