|This arched green space is a kind of entrance portico built over the parking space. It is 320 meters long and 60 meters wide, located on the southern side of the complex. The structure of L’Umbracle, with a succession of 55 fixed arches and 54 flying arches, all metal, resembles a trellis. The official web site says "Its vegetation is characteristic of the Mediterranean, of the Region of Valencia, and of tropical countries, and changes according to the season of the year; it also contains an interesting exhibition of contemporary sculptures by internationally acknowledged artists." |
|The garden is lined with 99 palm trees, 78 small palms, and many other plants. See here for full botanical descriptions.|
