Entrance to the vast oceanographic park with Candela's trademark hyperbolic paraboloid roofThe park--the most easterly area of the complex-- consists of lakes, lagoons, and an underwater city with re-creations of marine ecosystems throughout the world. According to Millás, a total of 45,000 different specimens live within these 42 million litres of water in this world's largest aquarium. The fabulous (and fabulously expensive) underwater restaurant we ate inWe were surrounded by the glass walls of the aquarium. We watched the fish as we ate their buddies.
