Distant views from the large parkDesigner of churches and most famously this museum as well as the Amsterdam Central Station, Cuypers was a practitioner of the Neo Gothic style.
|This building is sometimes called Neo-Renaissance (with parallels with the Hotel de Ville in Paris) but the Rijksmuseum seems more Gothic than Renaissance despite the French Renaissance roofs. Cuypers was an important influence on H.P. Berlage and Michiel de Klerk.|
